Finnebrogue expands Naked range with two new sausage recipes that support good gut-health, the first-ever nitrite-free frankfurter and a thick-cut bacon steak.

Finnebrogue Naked Chicken, Garlic & Herb Chipolatas are made with British chicken and do not contain any artificial additives. The Naked chicken chipolatas are high in protein and fibre, making them a tasty alternative for the more health-conscious family. They are also gluten-free, like all sausages produced by Finnebrogue.

What makes these chicken chipolatas and the rebranded Naked Good Little Pork Chipolatas ‘gut-friendly’ is the 5.1g of chicory Inulin per serving.

Inulin acts as a prebiotic, meaning that it feeds the beneficial bacteria in your gut. These helpful bacteria play a role in reducing inflammation, fighting harmful bacteria, and improving mineral absorption. Evidence suggests that foods containing inulin support normal bowel movements as the fibre passes through the digestive tract undigested, feeding bacteria along the way.

Finnebrogue has extended it nitrite-free bacon range with the launch of Naked Sugar-Pit Bacon Steaks. The new thick-cut bacon has a delicious sweet & salty flavour that is the result of sea salt and hand-rubbing a special blend of brown sugar into the pork loins, and then allowing them to rest for 5 days.

Finnebrogue Naked 2 Sugar-Pit Bacon Steaks, 240g, will be available at Waitrose and Ocado from 4th October.
