Foundation Earth is an independent, non-profit organisation established to issue front-of-pack environmental scores on food products. Finnebrogue signed up in 2021 to enable consumers to make more sustainable buying choices.
We have been piloting front-of-pack eco impact scores on our packs – so you have the independent information you need to make a more environmentally friendly buying choice.
Foundation Earth certifies the eco-impact of our products and rates them from A (great) to G (not so great). Using a scientific formula, they measure carbon, water usage, water pollution and biodiversity – which takes account of where ingredients came from and how we sourced them to processing the product and transporting to shops.
