No stone left unturned by Finnebrogue Eco team!

In advance of World Environment Day on the 5th June, Finnebrogue’s Eco Team transformed a routine litter pick into a social occasion for colleagues. The team, driven by their passion for a cleaner environment, meticulously combed the pathways around Finnebrogue’s Downpatrick sites. Their collective efforts yielded an impressive haul of seven bags of litter.

The initiative, aimed at fostering environmental responsibility and teamwork among colleagues, saw enthusiastic participation from employees across various departments including commercial, health & safety, hygiene and HR.

Commenting on the event, Paul Andrews, Head of Sustainability said:

“We believe in leading by example at Finnebrogue. By organising events like these, we not only clean up our workplace and surroundings, but also inspire our colleagues and the wider community to take action for the environment. We are working together to clear litter but we also enjoy a shared sense of purpose.”

Bigger Picture is Finnebrogue’s programme to produce food that doesn’t cost the Earth. The success of today’s event highlights Finnebrogue’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The Eco Team plans to continue such initiatives, turning environmental stewardship into a community activity for all.
