Foundation Earth is an independent, non-profit organisation established to issue front-of-pack environmental scores on food products. Finnebrogue’s late founder, Denis Lynn, came up with the idea and set the wheels in motion to create the Body it is today.
We have been piloting front-of-pack eco impact scores on our packs – so you have the independent information you need to make a more environmentally friendly buying choice.
Foundation Earth certifies the eco-impact of our products and rates them from A (great) to G (not so great). Using a scientific formula, they measure carbon, water usage, water pollution and biodiversity – which takes account of where ingredients came from and how we sourced them to processing the product and transporting to shops.
