In 2017, we proudly pioneered Naked bacon – made without harmful nitrites while still being naturally tasty. Our Naked bacon is made in Northern Ireland using Bord Bia quality approved Irish Pork. We saved your bacon!

These delicious unsmoked back bacon rashers are made without nitrites so are better for you. We use Irish pork with Bord Bia Quality Assurance ~ which is better for the planet. And there are environmental scores on our packs ~ to help you make better sustainable choices.

Full Ingredients: Irish Pork (87%), Water, Salt, Natural Flavouring*, Antioxidant: Ascorbic Acid.

*Natural Flavouring: We do not use any nitrites, whether from traditional sodium nitrite or nitrites derived from vegetable extracts like celery juice. By adding non-selective fruit & spice extracts instead of nitrites, our Naked bacon and Naked ham have the equivalent dietary makeup of fresh pork with added dried fruit juice.

Always cook Naked Bacon, never cook bacon naked! Before cooking, remove all packaging and rest the bacon for a while. Preheat grill to a medium – high heat. Line the grill with foil and arrange the rashers on the foil leaving enough space between each one. Grill for 4mins each side until crispy. Check product is cooked and piping hot throughout. Always wash your hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Keep refrigerated 0-5C. Do not exceed use by date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly in a fridge before cooking and use immediately. Do not re-freeze.
