Finnebrogue has extended it nitrite-free bacon range with the launch of Naked Sugar-Pit Bacon Steaks. The new thick-cut bacon has a delicious sweet & salty flavour that is the result of sea salt and hand-rubbing a special blend of brown sugar into the pork loins, and then allowing them to rest for 5 days.

The leading UK food producer based in County Down, has adapted the technology it uses to make nitrite-free Naked bacon – Britain’s biggest brand of bacon – and produced a delicious frankfurter that’s high in protein and with the same smoky flavour and “snappy” bite as the traditional German equivalent.
